Rummy Tournaments Rules

maximum penalty is disqualification and is applied in cases of unnecessary
delays, for being careless with the deck of cards or if the decorum is
breached. Director and coordinator approve entry of players and a hotel
hosts the event. During the tournament, decision of the Tournament
director is final and binding. If somebody has any queries about the game,
he should feel free to ask the Tournament director for clarifications.

The right to modify all promotions is reserved by the Rummy Tournament’s
organizers and it applies its discretion whenever required. The Rummy
Tournament is of usually two types like:

Single-Table Tournament and
-
Multi-Table Tournament.
So the Rummy tournaments Rules are according to these two tournaments and
these Rules are following:

The best thing about the tournament rummy is that a player losses only his

Rummy tournaments are outstandingly admired with card games players so

Single Table Tournament Rules:
Usually Single-Table Tournament is played for 200 points and 8 games for
the first day and 8 games for the second game. By drawing system players
are paired for the 1st match. First deal is started by the lowest card.
Ace is low. Each player should count their cards prior to start the play.
Cards are reshuffled by the dealer. Cards are dealt to each player.
Remaining cards are placed face down to form the stock pile. The Up card
is selected and placed near to the stock pile to form the discard pile.
And so the game continues according to the Rummy Tournaments rules.
In this tournament, this is called single tournament because this is
played among the players who seated near to the single table. According to
game rule certain scores of penalty is predetermined for elimination.

Multi-Table Tournament Rules:
Multi-Table tournaments are generally played for 250 points and team
members play 5 games. In this tournament players are seated next to each
other on the different tables. And according to game rule some scores are
fixed as penalty scores to eliminate players.
Throughout the tournament, as soon as the players are eliminated due to
penalty scores, then unoccupied tables is removed and the players from the
eliminated tables are gathered in less and less tables. The left out
players join the other players of the remaining tables for the available
seats. The players continue the game playing against to each other. If the
play is between 3-4 players then the pool prize is distributed among the
last two players. The first player gets 85% of the prize money and the
second player gets 15% of the prize money.
After registration all players are assigned seats and tables. A player
takes only that seat which is assigned to him. The Rummy Tournaments’
coordinator’s decisions are final. Anyone found to be playing in an
unprincipled behavior may be eliminated from the tournament. If a player
doesn’t have a partner then the tournaments organizers provide a partner
to him.
